In the last hours, the North American site Deadline provided previews on the production of "The Last of Us", the long-awaited HBO Max series based on the popular Playstation video game.

First, it was known in advance that the roles of Joel and Ellie - main characters in the story- will be played by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Now, the name that was added was Nico Parker, the young actress who was part of the ‘live-action’ version of “Dumbo”, disney movie.

Parker (of 16 years) will give life to Sarah Miller, Joel's daughter in this version of the game created by Naughty Dog.

This will not be the young woman's first time as an actress in an HBO production, since it was in the series "Westworld", como Maeve Millay.

On the other hand, the filming of "The Last of Us" will begin this month and among the first locations appears the Canadian city of Calgary. As the plot, it is still unknown if it will faithfully respect the video game. The number of episodes or their duration is not known either..

"The Last of Us" appeared for the Playstation platform 3 in 2013 and it quickly became one of the most successful games, both in sales and in the acceptance of critics and players. In 2020 the second part came to light, available for Playstation 4 Y 5.
