New samples to enjoy the Latin American Fototeca
The rooms of the Latin American Photo Library (BLOOD) They were renewed with three new samples that can be enjoyed in the rooms of the enclosure located on Godoy Cruz street 2626, in the porteño neighborhood of Palermo.
First, in the Main room you can see the work of Alberto García-Alix, From where it does not come back, a project that aims to take a trip back in time, between the past and the future of his work. This exhibition can be seen until 29 October.
Meanwhile, in room Two will be the work of Rodrigo Abd, in the exhibition The Afghan Chamber.
This exhibition reflects the work registered by whoever was sent to Kabul in 2006, to cover the horrors of the Afghanistan war for the prestigious Associated Press, agency that Abd integrates from 2003.
The Afghan camera will be available to the public until 24 of September.
By last, in room Three, and also until 24 of September, part of the permanent collection of the FOLA will be exhibited, in the frame of the show This is my place. Part II; a tour of the work done by artists from Peru.
These exhibitions can be enjoyed every day (except wednesday), of 12 a 20. The input value is 80 pesos and there are discounts of a 50 percent for retirees, students and teachers (with accreditation); minors of 12 years, meanwhile, they will not pay income.
Mondays, also, general admission will have a price of 40 pesos and it will be free for students (although it is not valid for group and guided visits), teachers and retirees.
