New Opening Thursday on INCAA screens
Within the framework of the Premiere Thursdays program presented by the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), Today the films "The whole world" and "Naranjo en flor" will be screened.
The first production is a documentary made by Sebastián Martínez; while the second tape is a police fiction co-produced between Argentina and Spain, escrita y dirigida por el español Antonio González-Vigil.
Both productions can be seen on Cine.ar TV this Thursday from 20, with a repeat on Saturday 10. At the same time, from Friday 9, both films will be available on the CINE.AR PLAY platform, for seven days, exclusively and free.
In its realization, Martínez proposes a look at the figure of Francisco Piria, standing in the year 1900. In this context there will be a merchant revolutionizing the Montevideo Market with novel strategies; a writer who publishes Uruguay's first utopian novel and a visionary who builds a sophisticated city in the middle of nowhere.
Director, born in 1967, realizó su primer largometraje documental “Paris Marsella” (2005) and received the Best Experimental Documentary Award at DOCUPOLI and the Voyage-Decouverte Award at Sunny Side of the DOC. Then he directed the documentary "Centro" (2010) that was exhibited at BAFICI, FIPA Biarritz and Documenta Madrid. His third documentary, "The whole world" (2020), features the production of Paula Orlando and Saula Benavente.
Meanwhile, "Orange Blossom", features the performances of Eduardo Blanco, Maria Marull, Verónica Bonter, Dalia Elnecavé and Fausto Coillado.
