Monumental work of Milu Correch in the center of Berazategui
The muralist Milu Correch, recognized worldwide, finished a spectacular work in the heart of Berazategui.
The image is on the wall of an Avenida building 14 Y 150. "I thought the idea was very good, I found the format interesting - throughout- and I like working with hanging scaffolding. What I did on this wall is the representation of a non-hegemonic woman. It's something I've been working on for quite a while, which is part of a series of works that I have been developing ”, said the young artist.
Milu lives and works in the Coghlan neighborhood, Buenos aires city. He began to paint on the Buenos Aires walls and, in the last times, worked on much larger murals. His themes focus mainly on mythological and anthropomorphic figures, merging classical iconography, ancient and Latin American with characters from modern myths.
In this sense, stressed the importance of street walls for a deeper analysis. "Public space is one of the territories where a visual warfare unfolds from which we receive a lot of hegemonic messages. It is important that ideas are communicated, that although they are not counter-hegemonic, that at least do not go hand in hand with hegemony or system ”.
