Dance performance to remember the social outbreak of 2001

This Saturday 18 from December, upon completion 20 years of the social outbreak that occurred in 2001, the artist and performative thinker Lucía Nacht will carry out a dance performance reconstructing historical events of that tragic moment.

"Monuments in action" is the name of this presentation that will take place in the Plaza de Mayo starting at 18 and that it will have a total of ten interpreters directed by her, proposing a space for dance and memory.

At the same time, the public will be able to be part of "Monuments in action" through their cell phones, implementing an ‘audio guide’ listening to a multiplicity of voices from many of the protagonists of those dark events that occurred on 19 Y 20 from December to 2001.

As Nacht explains, Through the plurality of voices, the idea of ​​memory is decolonized by offering the viewer the experience of a collective reconstruction of history..

It should be noted that "Monuments in Action" has been declared of Cultural Interest by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires, with the support of Prodanza and Patronage.
