The show "Oil", one of the most viewed and awarded works of recent times, will return on saturday 6 February to the Metropolitan Sura room.

In total there will be four unique functions, that will feature performances by Elisa Carricajo, Valeria Correa, Pilar Gamboa and Laura Paredes. Every Saturday the performance will begin at 20.15, with the capacity allowed, meticulous protocols and in a very secure way.

“Petróleo” is an original production by the Complejo Teatral de Buenos Aires and the Piel de Lava group and was applauded by more than 50.000 spectators surpassing 150 functions with sold out seats. The work has received the ACE award in the category “National Author” Y “Leading Actress Drama / Comedy”: Pilar Gamboa; It is the fifth piece of the PIEL DE LAVA team with Laura Fernández and it is also the perfect synthesis of a powerful fictional machine and collective work in which acting converge, dramaturgy and direction.

This time, the actresses put themselves in the shoes of four oil workers as a possibility to investigate the construction of the genre. The construction / deconstruction of stereotypes and humor coexist in the work.
