The successful work "Petroleo", by the Piel de Lava group, will be presented this weekend at the recently inaugurated Cine Teatro El Plata, belonging to the Theater Complex of Buenos Aires.

Both times, the work can be seen from 20 in the enclosure located on Avenida Juan Bautista Alberdi 5765, with tickets that are for sale on the official CTBA website or at the local box office.

"Petroleo" stars Elisa Carricajo, Valeria Correa, Pilar Gamboa and Laura Paredes.

Music and sound design by Zypce, the lighting is by Matías Sendón, Gabriela A's wardrobe. Fernandez, the scenography by Rodrigo González Garillo and the dramaturgy and direction are by Piel de Lava and Laura Fernández.

Regarding its plot, four men live together in a trailer and, just a few meters from there, extract oil from an almost empty well. Up, free time is covered in dust, of dark myths of the area, of physical challenges. Down, the stone fractures to extract the last drop, what little is left.

In his fifth work, Lava Skin investigates the possibility of inhabiting male characters, in constant dialogue with the ability to generate fiction from certain group procedures and, as well, as a way to inquire about the construction of gender and stereotypes.
