Through Instagram Live, on Friday 2 October the exhibition "Connect" will be officially inaugurated, by visual artist Podri, in the Mar Dulce Gallery.

The appointment will be from the 19, moment when the debut of this artist begins, reflected in a series of eleven paintings with Latin American imprint and a lot of color. In his creations, Podri shows female bodies, nature and animals creating a new world, dreamy and in turn, near.

On the other hand, all the work that can be seen in this exhibition was created in quarantine, where the meaning of everyday, the way to bond and the passage of time, it reconfigured. "Connect" transmits this reconstruction of new ways of living. The value of simplicity, the encounter with oneself and the freshness that can be achieved.

These realizations were made in oil and find their focus on flat figures, a bright color palette and a relationship with the background that highlights the bodies of free women. It is a journey through landscapes that communicate enjoyment and tranquility.

Podri (35) is a renowned tattoo artist, Visual Artist and Graphic Designer. He was born in Buenos Aires. He took courses in Drawing and Painting at the UNA -National University of the Arts- and with different private teachers. Her main influences are the Brazilian artist, Tarsila do Amaral, and the Colombian painter, Fernando Botero. His artistic search began with watercolors, acrylics, until I found the texture I wanted in the oil.
