"Nevermind" is the album that marked a before and after not only in Nirvana's career, but in the history of music. The plate defined the grunge genre thanks to its raw sound, direct and sincere.

Beyond all those definitions, the plate composed of the trio consisting of Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic also became a classic from their cover, that exhibited the image of a naked baby in a pool, chasing a dollar bill that hung on a hook.

Now, 30 years after the album was released, Spencer Elden - the protagonist of that cover- denounced the band, accusing them of profiting from the use of child pornography.

Elden demands compensation since - it alleges- the group benefited from the commercialization of their "sexual exploitation".

Before and after. Spencer Elden, cover protagonist.

The complaint was made on Tuesday hours and was made against Grohl and Novoselic (the surviving members of the group) y Courtney Love (widow and owner of the Cobain estate, singer and guitarist who died in 1994).

On the other hand, the judicial measure also reaches Kirk Weddle, photographer who recorded the image that would later become the cover of the album and - perhaps the most striking- Chad Channing, who was the previous drummer of the band and left his position in 1990, before the release of "Nevermind".

It is worth remembering that long ago, Elden recorded the same image again. More precisely in 2016, under the anniversary number 25 from the album.

"Nevermind" was Nirvana's second studio album and quickly became the most successful of his career., thanks to songs like "Smells like teen spirit", “Come as you are” o “In Bloom”.
