Newly way, the General Directorate of Culture of the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Nation launched the call "Power and Politics", a theatrical contest based on the contents of the Preamble to the National Constitution.

The proposal, which will remain open until 28 February, aims to highlight the text that heads the Constitution and declares the values ​​and purposes that make up the legislative and political program of our country: the national union, peace, the order, Justice, common defense, the general welfare and protection of the liberty of all inhabitants.

Likewise, defines who will be the recipients of the fundamental rule: “nosotros”, “nuestra posteridad” Y “todos los hombres del mundo que quieran habitar el suelo argentino”.

In this way, the invitation aims to open the game between poetics, politics and aesthetics, combining the concepts of the Preamble with the present and inaugurating an area of ​​reflection projected on the whole that we form as a community.

A plural community fully represented in this political house and that functions as a sounding board for the proposed topics, catalyzing on known elements, as the origin, the collective, the individual. That "us" formed by others that is also each one.

Prizes will be awarded in accordance with the provisions of RP No. 1244/20. Likewise, the jurors may award up to three special mentions, that together with the awarded works will be published in a compilation that will be presented at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair, edition 2021.

The results of the contest will be announced through the same website of the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation.
