The winners of the Orange Shorts Festival in Luján were presented
Through an awards gala that was held virtually, the Culture area of the San Luis city of Luján announced the winners of the Orange Shorts Festival.
Through the official YouTube channel and with more than 450 visualizations, the organizers carried out the meeting that had, in addition to the distinctions, tributes to cinema and -especially- the short films.
"Stop", by Emilio Vera was the big winner within the local productions. The production has the leading role of Marcelo Di Gennaro, who also won the award for best actor in San Luis.
The second short awarded was "Licor de Naranja", produced in Luján and directed by Ignacio Escudero.
At the same time, other outstanding achievements of the province were "Casa Tomada", "Let me", "Old House" and "Marduk".
In the international framework, the Best Animated Short was "Ian", produced by Oscar winner Juan José Campanella. The award for Best Horror Short was for "Do not open to strangers", also argentinian.
The second best short, which also won the award for best drama and five other awards, it was "North", a realization produced in Madagascar. The award for Best Short was for "I never left you alone", a spanish short film.
They were in total 212 the shorts that came from different parts of the world, far exceeding the achievements of the previous edition. Each of the works was evaluated by a jury composed of Máximo Soto, Salvador Valverde and Sebastián Pereyra, among other important filmmakers, writers, musicians, teachers and actors.
