Very few hours ago, director James Wan previewed the first poster of the Aquaman movie on his Twitter account, the DC superhero who will hit the big screen as Jason Mamoa.

At the same time, in the same social network, the acclaimed director who brought the “Insidius” and “The Conjuring” franchises to life, previewed an image where you could see that his production team was giving the final touches to the first trailer of the film that will be seen at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend.

Regarding the poster, you can see Jason Mamoa, crouched with his classic trident at the bottom of the ocean and surrounded by a large number of aquatic species. The entire image is accompanied by the ad "Home is calling" (Home is calling). It is worth clarifying that in its Latin American edition the slogan will be "The sea calls you".

This phrase is not a coincidence, but it serves to explain the life of Arthur Curry (Aquaman), who lives in both the surface world and the submarine.

Besides Mamoa, the movie (that will hit theaters on 21 from December) will feature performances by Patrick Wilson (already a historical in Wan movies), who will play the villain Ocean Master (aquaman's half brother), Willem Dafoe (Wolf), Amber Heard (Mera), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta), Temuera Morrison (Thomas Curry) y Dolph Lundgren (Nereus).

On the other hand, DC's universe will continue to expand and more data will be released this weekend in San Diego, with advertisements for other productions such as "Shazam" and "Wonder Woman 1984", more ads referring to the Joker movie (Joker) and a possible sequel to Superman, and Man of Steel 2.
