In the last hours Disney and Pixar revealed the first preview of "Lightyear", the story that inspired the famous toy from the "Toy Story" franchise.

This original film will be released on 16 June next year, voiced by actor Chris Evans (Captain America). Sci-fi action adventure features Buzz Lightyear's origin story, the hero who inspired the toy, featuring the legendary Space Guardian who would later win generations of fans.

Evans himself pointed out that "the phrase‘ a dream come true’ it is used a lot, but it had never meant so much in my life "and added: “Anyone who knows me knows that my love for animated films runs deep.. I can't believe I can be part of the Pixar family and work with these truly brilliant artists who tell stories like no one else.. Watching them work is nothing more and nothing less than magic. I pinch myself every day ".

Angus MacLane, Annie award-winning director and veteran Pixar animator, who co-directed FINDING DORY in 2016, directs lightyear. The production is in charge of Galyn Susman (corto Toy Story: Forgotten in time).
