Of the 10 al 16 of November, Buenos Aires will celebrate its cultural legacy in the first edition of Heritage Week, a free event that aims to highlight the importance of the city's cultural heritage, from its architecture to its traditions.

Organized by the Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture, This event seeks to promote access to the cultural assets of Buenos Aires residents and encourage their preservation..

For six days, there will be a wide variety of activities such as talks, workshops, guided tours and special tours. These will allow you to explore both the material and intangible heritage of the city.. further, Spaces that are not normally accessible will be opened to the public, which will offer the possibility of knowing historical places and archaeological sites of great value.

The activities are aimed at both adults and children., with options ranging from thematic visits to workshops and conferences with specialists. It will be an opportunity to learn about the work behind the preservation of these cultural assets and delve into the historical treasures of Buenos Aires..

Heritage Week is supported by Law 1227 City of Buenos Aires, that regulates the protection and promotion of cultural heritage. This event coincides with two key dates: the 10 of November, Tradition Day, in commemoration of the birth of José Hernández, and the 16 of November, International World Heritage Day.

The Ministry of Culture has also called on public and private cultural institutions to join in with special activities, like keynote talks, unique workshops, exhibitions and unpublished tours that complement the programming.
