The Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires announced the return of the Ciudad Emergente festival, which this time will celebrate its 15 years.

This classic proposal dedicated to youth culture will take place from Friday 7 Sunday 9 October in the woods of Palermo, where it will offer a wide range of activities and proposals.

The entrance to the property will be through Avenida Belisario Roldán 4400, behind the Planetarium and the programming can be consulted through the site buenosaires.gob.ar/CiudadEmergente and BOTI (to the number 11-5050-0147).

Activities will start at 14 and will contemplate the emerging music scene and trends in music, urban culture, visual arts, technology, fashion and design.

Ciudad Emergente is a platform for new artists from all over the country to show their talent. Through federal calls, every year new bands and artists from all provinces are added, who are chosen by a selection committee made up of referents from the music industry and by the vote of the fans. In this way, the local scene is nourished by new sights and sounds from all over Argentina, in an enriching cultural exchange.

The programming of this edition reflects the emerging rock scene, the pop, the urban and the indie. will be presented more than 100 bands, in two scenarios facing each other at the ends of the property with a design created by Sergio Lacroix. Artists like: Alba, in Espil, Andro, We do, Axel Fix, Bhvi, Horsepower (Colombia), Celli, the dalmanian, Florian, Fran Nunez, Fransia, Gauchito Club, Joven Breakfast, Juli Suanno, Kaktov, the mucura (Colombia), Lucas & The Woods, Luna Sujatovich, LV Rod, Hello, Mary Codino, Brands, Melanie Williams & The Cabloid, Misson, Nashy-Nashai, watch out for them, Avocado & the Mood, Pol4ca, Ronpe 99, Ruggero, Silvestre and La Naranja and Surdo SRD.

On the main stages, the closing of each day will be in charge of referent djs: Pol4ca, Ale-yeah y Oransh; Vi Porcelain y Olivia Mtk; and Laucha and Teo Podolsky.

further, this year the Emergent went on tour and was present at the ActiVamos events, in the municipality of Tres de Febrero, and Pinamar emerges from the seaside resort. Local bands played at both events and two from each city were selected to perform on one of the stages of the Festival in the City of Buenos Aires. In the Three of February case, the bands that will play at the Emergente are Sabot and Paraleia. and from Pinamar, they will play xAlteregOx and Siesta voodoo.

Finally the youngest will have Emergentito, your space within the festival, with a different proposal. For children, shows of children's rock bands NiLocos, TaTetí Rock and the Rockan; and urban dance classes to sing and put the body in movement. Pre-adolescents will have urban dance classes and DJ sets with urban music by Emi Campana and Sofía Hervier. The space will be intervened by the visual artist Eye with legs.
