Regarding the show, "Don Gil de las Calzas Verdes" -considered one of the most successful works of Spanish Baroque theater for the quality of its plot-, It is essentially a sitcom about wanting wrong and to what extent this desire corresponds to the body.
The text was released in 1615, a decisive century philosophically; the questions that the culture asked about the condition of the soul and the body are reversed in this "Trans Golden Age", that interrogates the genre in a thousand different ways. The version about the verse to the Buenos Aires Spanish Baroque, but keeps intact the sexual satire and philosophical and metaphysical proposals of Tirso de Molina. The staging addresses the text from the baroque tradition, with his amazing self-confidence to play songs that are still modern today: identity and body against the destructive action of desire.
