After a long inactivity due to the pandemic, the doors of the Ángel Alonso de Pilar theater will reopen in December.

First, this return will be focused on the Pilarean theater companies, that will be the protagonists of an agenda of shows with a variety of alternatives to enjoy the local scene again.

Within that context, the theater will offer a variety of contemporary monologues with diverse climates, a sitcom and a painting of current family ties are on the theatrical billboard, to which two functions will be added to live the dance.

The Undersecretary of Pilarense Culture, Manuel Morales placeholder image, stated that “when we assume, shortly before the pandemic, our first activity in the Theater was an open and free cycle for Pilarenses ”and he added: "Today we regain that spirit for our municipal hall. The cast "Here and Now", directed by Vanesa Caldara, will have a special role: that of staging the first play that will come out after the pandemic closures back in March of 2020. Will be friday 3 December at 22 with his "Varieté Cíclica Deluxe", a series of nine monologues with different performances and the same function: to make laugh.

Two days later, on Sunday 5 from December, to 20:30, Grupo Teatral Moraleja’s will present the play “And… even in the best families!”. Under the direction of Juanchy Morales comes this funny comedy of entanglements, in which a dysfunctional family seeks its happiness and bets on love in every imaginable way.

While, on Sunday 12 to 20:30 the Soniarte group will appear on stage & Inc. to present the work “Changes, a new reality ", directed by Sonia Sidoti.

The month will close with two performances dedicated to dance, with a cycle featuring local companies. “Triptych” will have two functions, on Friday 17 And the saturday 18, both the 20:30. Ad Hoc Cía will participate in it. Unstable, VGL Group, Kunts Co.. dance and Chimera Ballet.

In all cases, Advance ticket sales are in charge of each participating cast, while on the day of the performance they are available at the door of the Theater, one hour before the start.
