The historical musical comedy “Obligada was the return” returns
With performances every Saturday in March and April, The play “Obligada was around” will begin its new season at the El Tinglado theater, made by the company Museo Viajero.
This show is nothing more and nothing less than a historical musical comedy for the whole family presented by El Museo Viajero, theater company and historical research founded in 1995. Performances will take place on Saturdays in March and April at 17:30 hours in the facility located on Mario Bravo 948.
“The return was obligatory” is a story about Rosas, the defense of sovereignty and the Paraná War, where roses, Manuelita and Mansilla face an abusive threat and an unequal fight. An ingenious defense plan will lead to final victory.
The questions about the Paraná War and its meaning are intertwined with the story: What did the Paraná War consist of?? We won or lost this war? Who are we fighting against?? Why does the defeat in Vuelta de Obligado symbolize sovereignty? What role did the first foreign debt we had play??
The cast includes Melina Saavedra, Dani Mercado, Juan Ignacio Sandoval and Roberto Echaide, directed by Fabián Uccello and dramaturgy by Raquel Prestigiacomo.
As for inputs, They can be obtained at the venue's box office or through the Alternative Theater system..
As expressed by the theater company, The idea of presenting this theme through a musical comedy arose from the contradictions of the historical figures., like patriotism versus mercantilism, defense against arrogance, and courage in the face of subjugation. further, The predominant role of a woman like Manuelita Rosas was highlighted.
