Face-to-face performances are back at the Podestá de La Plata Coliseum
The Municipal Theater Coliseo Podestá de La Plata announced a wide list of shows and a strict sanitary protocol with a capacity of 50 percent for the return to face-to-face functions from the month of September.
The Municipality of La Plata reported that after the suspension of activities due to the pandemic, the emblematic local theater will reopen its doors next Friday 3 of September, with the presentation of “Luly Forever” by Pablo Angeli, actor comedian winner of the last Estrella de Mar award for best stand-up comedy show.
Facing the return of the functions, the protocols indicate the mandatory use of a mask-nose, use of alcohol gel, seating arrangement with social distancing and a reduced capacity to 50%, reported the municipal authorities.
Regarding the billboard of shows, space announces saturday 4, “Pack”, a work by Jordi Casanovas, directed by Nelson Valente and starring Vanesa González, Martin Slipak, Gustavo Pardi, Gastón Cocchiarale, Lucas Crespi and Julián Ponce Campos.
On Sunday 5 to 20 will be presented “Smart Lies”, a play by Joe Di Pietro directed by Valeria Ambrosio and starring Christian Sancho, Arnold Andrew, Marta González and Lula Rosenthal.
Meanwhile, on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 to 21, the public will be able to see from “The show must go on” of Hernán Piquín, a show with the choreographic direction of Laura Cattalini, musical arrangements by Gerardo Gardelín and ten dancers of excellence, that relives the exciting artistic life of Freddy Mercury, his way to fame, the rock, the temptations, the true love, the fight of mixed feelings, greed, rebellion and acceptance.
The reopening card continues on Friday 17 and Saturday 18, to 21.30, with “Queen mother”, a tribute to Queen that recreates all the power and glamor of one of the most important rock bands in history, with an incredible physical resemblance, voice and performance of its vocalist, superb interpretations, costume designs and original instruments, together with an avant-garde staging.
Finally, the month's schedule will end on Saturday 25 of September, to 21, with “Martin Bossi – Comedy Tour”, a humorous musical theatrical show in which the renowned comedian will make you laugh, sing and dance in the audience with current monologues, music, dances and songs, over an hour and a half, and accompanied by musicians and a singer.
