Representatives of cultural SMEs met at the CCK

This Tuesday at the Kirchner Cultural Center (CCK), several of the heads of different SMEs that respond to the sector met with authorities of the Ministry of Culture, headed by Tristán Bauer.

The meeting was carried out both in person and online and had as its axis support to the sector in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic and the effect that this problem caused in the cultural area.

Tristán Bauer was present, Minister of Culture of the Nation; Lucrecia Cardoso, Secretary of Cultural Development; Marcelo Adrian Bufacchi, Undersecretary of Administrative Management of the Minister of Labor, Employment and Safety; Leandro Mora Alfonsín, National Director of Regional and Sector Development of the Ministry of Productive Development; Barbara Maier, Chief of Staff of the Secretariat for Cultural Development and Luis Sanjurjo, National Director of Cultural Industries.

The Minister of Culture announced that, with the support of the Ministry of Labor of the Nation and the Ministry of Productive Development, Critical sectors of the Cultural Industries will be incorporated into REPRO II, at the same time that an employment assistance program will be developed, with a budget of 355 millions of pesos, intended to sustain the activity of theater and live music, which has suffered a drop in year-on-year billing greater than %85, according to the latest SINCA report .

On the other hand, a technical working table was organized between the three ministries (Culture, Labor and Productive Development) and the chambers of industries (ACMMA; CAPTURE; Devise; AADET; ASAP, CIEyA) in order to follow up on the agenda raised in the meeting.

With regard to the chambers that represent the Cultural SMEs, Ana Poluyan from ACMMA was present (Argentine Music Managers Civil Association); Guillermo González from CAPTE (Argentine Chamber of Technique Providers for Events and Shows); Eduardo Sempé of IDEAr (Argentine Entertainment Industry); Roberto Bisogno from AADET (Argentina Association and Musical Theater Company); Martin Alfiz de AADET (Argentina Association and Musical Theater Company); Tiana Alejandra Rivera from ASAP (Argentine Association of Producers. Gerardo Rojas participated virtually, president of ACMMA; Carlos Fernandez Mendez, ACMMA secretary; Cristian Merchot, vocal of ACMMA; Graciana Maro from AADET; Sebastián Blutrach from AADET, Carlos Rottemberg from AADET and José Palazzo from CIEyA.

further, the extension of the credits destined to the Cultural SMEs was announced until 31 of March, the incorporation of individuals and a financial inclusion plan with Banco de la Nación Argentina (BNA).
