The work “Reversible”, created and performed by Mercedes Torre, will continue with its presentations every Sunday of the month at the El Extranjero theater.

Under the direction of Juan Andrés Romanazzi and live music by Pablo Viotti, This proposal can be seen from the 20 hours in the facility located on Valentín Gómez 3378.

In “Reversible”, Rosita will embark on an adventure that will aim to rescue her mother who has been taken by death.

Rosita will do whatever it takes to achieve her goal and be able to reunite with her mother in this one-woman show inspired by Latin American magical realism and music..

“This work was born five years ago with the image of the last scene,” Torre explained., who added that “I needed to talk about my mother's death, without it being 'talking about my mother's death'”; that is, “being able to make that duel, a poetic and political act. I believe that the way we position ourselves in the face of pain is the way we live life.”.

"The humor, poetry and music were and are my tools to transform what I live. Rosita allows me to put my body to a very real duel and turn it around, make it Reversible”, concluded the artist.
