Simple and forceful. Maybe these two words could name a Hollywood action movie, but nevertheless, They are aimed at a man too far removed from the flashes and bombast; that heralds the direct speech that the six strings of his guitar provide and boy does he get it right.

Rich Robinson, Chris's brother with whom he founded the Black Crowes, one of the most iconic rock bands of the '90s and with which they both brought the southern sound back to the fore, began his tour of Argentina with a concert at the Teatro Gran Rivadavia de Flores that will remain engraved in the memory of the many followers who waited for a long time for the return of the musician who visited the country with his band there. 1996 as the opening act for, nothing more and nothing less, Jimmy Page y Robert Plant.

There were more than two hours of a concert that also had an Argentine presence on stage, since Nicolás Bereciartúa (who also played as support) It was Robinson's ladero -he has been a stable member since the end of last year-.

In this opportunity, Robinson brought another former Raven on bass, Sven Pipien, to drummer Joe Magistro, singer John Hogg and keyboardist Matt Slocum, a combo that only suffered at the beginning of the show with some glitches in the sound.

Shipwreck was the song chosen for the beginning of the show, but it wasn't until stand up, second song, that Robinson's voice, dueling with Hogg, could be heard.

I know you, Dean and I have a Feeling were the precursors to the first Black Crowes cover of the night, the ballad Oh Josephine, included in the Warpaint disc.

Bereciartúa, meanwhile, Shone in another Raven classic like Wiser time, where he performed one of the most exciting solos of the night and then shared guitars with Robinson himself, both winning the ovation of the people.

The covers continued with Laila II from Agitation Free and then it was the turn of two great songs by Robinson as a soloist., como Wich way your wind blows y Yesterday y Saw you.

It was unlikely to end a night without an Allman Brothers song, band loved by the guitarist who gave away a great version of Stand Back, just before another string of songs the Black Crowes, that made you think about the end of the concert. This is how the wonderful Hotel Illness arrived, Paint an 8 y What is home, right before the end with sweet nuthin, Velvet Underground song that became a regular on the Cuervos' charts during their last concerts.

For the end, Thorn in my pride, del álbum The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, maybe the best album of the Black Crowes, arrived to celebrate the return of the musician who left in silence and bathed in applause, After a memorable concert that we hope will not be long in repeating.
