Richard Ashcroft presented his new studio album
“Acoustic Hymns Vol.1” is the name of the most recent album by Richard Ashcroft that was presented this Tuesday and is now available on all digital platforms.
Produced by Ashcroft with Chris Potter, The album features his live band powered by some special collaborators like Liam Gallagher. Wil Malone provides the string arrangements that were recorded at Abbey Road Studios. further, Chuck Leavell (The Rolling Stones, The Allman Brothers) plays the piano, Roddy Bloomfield directs the brass section and Steve Wyreman (Leon Bridges, Vic Mensa) contributes acoustic guitar and backing vocals.
Richard began his acoustic tour earlier this month with two sold out shows at the London Palladium.. The tour continued with a great concert at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool and then head to the Royal Albert Hall. Your plans for 2022 are also taking shape with the news that it will headline the Nottingham Splendor Festival.
Ashcroft is a two-time winner of the Ivor Novello Award (Songwriter of the Year en 1998 y Outstanding Contribution to British Music en 2019).
