A seminar on heritage and cultural policies in a gender key will take place from tomorrow until Friday in virtual form, open and free, organized by the Terry de Tilcara Museum and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the National University of Jujuy (UNJu).
Over three days, It will seek to reflect on the place of women and diversities in culture, through dialogues, forums, workshops and artistic performances with researchers, managers and activists like Rita Segato, Dora Barrancos, Magui Choquevilca, Ana Longoni, Karina Bidaseca, Eugenia Mur and Elvira Espejo, among other guests.
The proposal -entitled “Heritage is political. Heritage and cultural policies in terms of gender”- It will be inaugurated tomorrow at as 11 by Viviana Usubiaga, National Director of Asset Management of the Ministry of Culture.
“It seems fundamental to us to promote reflection on the place of women in culture and in the history of art., generate spaces to think about cultural heritage from Jujuy, with an inclusive and intercultural perspective”, explained Juan Ignacio Muñoz, director of the Terry Museum.
The activities and talks, focused on community experiences in the Andean region but from a federal perspective, will be broadcast live through the museum's account on the social network Facebook and UNJu (@museonacionalterry y @fhycsunju).
“This meeting is presented as a great opportunity to discuss experiences and work agendas., with the aim of promoting access, the participation, the redistribution and recognition of women and diversities in the artistic-cultural field”, sustained Ana Laura Elbirt, Conicet-UNJu fellow.
