The renowned film critic, Programmer and Artistic Director Roger Koza will give a virtual talk through the Zoom application, within the framework of the European Film Meeting.

The appointment will be on Thursday 14 of May, starting at 20 hours. It should be noted that the entrance to the talk will be in order of arrival, until capacity is exhausted (Meeting id: 896-7035-5194).

Koza will speak about "The dreamed", one of the films participating in the cycle, which is still available via free streaming thanks to the joint effort between the Austrian Embassy, the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the producer Sixpackfilm.

"The dreamed" is a realization of 2016, which is directed by Ruth Beckermann. In this drama, the story revolves around love between two great european authors: Ingeborg Bachmann y Paul Celan

Of love and hate, of right and wrong words. Ingeborg Bachmann (1926-1973) and Paul Celan (1920-1970), they met in postwar Vienna. The script starts from the exchange of letters between the two.

This dramatic love story, passionate but also deeply sad between both poets begins in 1948, when she had 22 and the 27 years and ends with Celan's suicide in 1971 in Paris.

The actors of the film will meet in the recording studio to read the letters. The feelings – full of drama and oscillating between passion and fear of loss, rapt and startled, closeness and strangeness – pass to the actors, who at the same time have fun, they fight, smoke, talk about tattoos and music.
