Santa Fe will sing to Negra Sosa on Independence Day

As part of the celebration for Independence Day and through an initiative of the provincial Ministry of Culture, Santa Fe will sing to Black Mercedes Sosa when it is completed 85 years after his birth.

The tribute to the great Argentine singer will begin at 21 and it will be shared through the 5RTV screen and all its social networks, with the slogan "Santa Fe sings to la Negra Sosa".

Regarding recognition to the artist, Culture Minister Jorge Llonch noted that "he sang on the world's great stages, interpreted to the best musicians of Argentina, and never forgot its origins ”.

Likewise, the official indicated: "We wanted this new anniversary, the Province would pay tribute to a beloved daughter of the land where Independence was signed and that female singers from all parts of Santa Fe would do so. They are wonderful voices that remember and commemorate that wonderful voice of Mercedes ”.

Regarding the tribute, It lasts an hour and aims to tour the repertoire of the outstanding artist, for which the authors from Santa Fe who she interpreted were taken as a reference, as Fito Páez, León Gieco or Ariel Ramírez, among others.

Four renowned Santa Fe singers were invited to give voice to the tribute: Natalia Pérez, from Helvecia; Patricia Gomez, of Reconquista; Myriam Cubelos, Rosario, and Itatí Barrionuevo, of Santa Fe.

The production was recorded in different cultural spaces in Santa Fe: The Bicentennial House, in Reconquista, the Paco Urondo Provincial Cultural Center, from the provincial capital, and the Lavardén de Rosario Platform.
