Just two days after his return to the stage after a long inactivity due to the pandemic break, Satan Dealers is about to celebrate 20 years of experience with a concert that will take place at the Sala Siranush in Palermo.

In that context, The sidewalk spoke with Cristian Salvucci, drummer of one of the most important garage rock and hard rock groups on the local scene.

There are only a few hours left until the moment to celebrate comes 20 years and, according to Salvucci, all this time served to make a balance that "was always positive" since "we released several albums, we toured South America and our country ". “We also had the pleasure of playing with many bands that influenced us., we cannot complain ", affirmed the musician.

They are a very recognized band and influence of many who continue to carry the flag of national rock on their shoulders.Does that make them proud or is it something that they do not take much into account?

We are very happy that we are an influence for someone who is starting in this rock, We advise you to listen to a lot of music and research all the bands that influenced us.

How would you like to see Satan Dealers from here to 5 years? With what word would you define this tour of 20 years on stage?

We are a band that generally does not program much in the long term, I think it was the formula to reach the 20 years. We would like to look good, United, the rest is given alone. In one word…incredible.

As in every stage of life, things that are not so good always happen and in a rock group that premise is no exception. For Salvucci “surely there always were and there are, but we never doubt ourselves and that makes us move forward with confidence in everything we plan ".

What does this show represent for you? What expectations do you have?

Expectations, many. It's our first post-pandemic show in a tabletop format, which is something we never did. In this celebration of the 20 years (what would they be 21) we are closing a stage and facing the new album that is ready to record.

We enter the pre-production stage to start recording the new album at the beginning of next year and surely more shows to come..
