The films that will be part of the FICM were released
This Friday the titles that will be part of the edition were revealed 18 of the Morelia International Film Festival (Ficm), one of the most prestigious meetings held within the genre in Latin America.
The productions are entirely Mexican, more precisely 91 titles that within the Official Selection are divided as follows: 11 jobs in the Michoacan Section, 60 titles in the Mexican Short Film Section (10 of animation, 14 documentary and 36 fictional), 11 titles in the Mexican Documentary Section and 9 titles in the Mexican Feature Film Section.
The FICM complies 18 years of being a unique platform for the promotion of Mexican filmmakers. Its competing sections remain as the foundation of the festival, since the main objective is to promote new talents from that country, whose works can cross cultural and aesthetic boundaries.
In order to guarantee the safety of festival goers and faithful compliance with health protocols, is 18º FICM, that will take place from 28 from October to 1 of November, will be developed in a hybrid version of five days, with face-to-face functions in the city of Morelia and free virtual functions through Cinépolis Klic, Canal 22 and FilminLatino.
