De manera reciente fueron dados a conocer todos los nominados para los premios Emmy, el encuentro que celebra lo Mejor de la televisión estadounidense realizada entre el primero de junio de 2019 y el 31 de mayo del corriente año.

La ceremonia que lleva adelante la Academia de Televisión Artes y Ciencias tendrá lugar el 20 de septiembre y nuevamente reflejará la puja que existe entre HBO, Netflix y Amazon Prime, plataformas que vieron incrementadas en demasía sus suscripciones ante el avance de la pandemia.

“Watchmen”, producción de HBO encabezó la lista de las más nominadas (26), seguida por “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (20) de Amazon y por “Succession” y “Ozark”, que completaron el podio con 20 nominaciones.

Este año la fiesta televisiva tendrá la conducción de Jimmy Kimmel y la transmisión estará a cargo de la cadena TNT.

Entre las categorías más fuertes aparecen producciones como “Better call Saul”, “The Crown”, “The Mandalorian”, “Killing Eve”, “The Handsmaid´s tale”, “Stranger Things”, “Succession” y “Ozark”, entre las nominadas a Mejor Serie de Drama.

Por otro lado, Jennifer Aniston (“The morning show”), Zendaya (“Euphoria”), Sandra Oh (“Killing Eve”), Laura Linney (“Ozark”), Olivia Colman (“The Crown”) fueron las elegidas para competir por el galardón a la Mejor Actriz.
