Emmy Award Nominees Unveiled 2020

Recently all Emmy nominees were released, the meeting that celebrates the Best of American television held between June 1, 2019 and the 31 May of the current year.

The ceremony carried out by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will take place on 20 September and will again reflect the bid that exists between HBO, Netflix y Amazon Prime, platforms that saw their subscriptions increase too much in the face of the advance of the pandemic.

“Watchmen”, HBO production topped the list of the most nominated (26), followed by “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (20) from Amazon and by “Succession” and “Ozark”, who completed the podium with 20 nominations.

This year the television party will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and the transmission will be in charge of the TNT network.

Among the strongest categories are productions such as "Better call Saul", “The Crown”, “The Mandalorian”, “Killing Eve”, “The Handsmaid´s tale”, “Stranger Things”, “Succession” y “Ozark”, among the nominees for Best Drama Series.

On the other hand, Jennifer Aniston (“The morning show”), Zendaya (“Euphoria”), Sandra Oh (“Killing Eve”), Laura Linney (“Ozark”), Olivia Colman (“The Crown”) were chosen to compete for the Best Actress award.

Inside the actors, the nominees were Jason Bateman (“Ozark”), Sterling K. Brown (“This is us”), Steve Carell (“The morning show”), Brian Cox y Jeremy Strong (“Succession”) y Billy Porter (“Pose”).
