In the last hours, the Las Alturas International Film Festival revealed the list of films that will be part of the Official Selection of the seventh edition of the traditional meeting that takes place in Jujuy.

With face-to-face functions and activities and online, the cinematographic meeting will take place between the first and 10 October, where four official competitions will be developed: International Fiction Feature Film Competition, International Documentary Feature Film Competition (integrated by films from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela), NOA Region Short Film Competition (composed of short films from Jujuy, Salta, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero, Catamarca and La Rioja) and the National Work in Progress Competition of the Heights with projects of feature films of Argentine production in the process of being made.

All participating titles were chosen by Artistic Director Daniel Desaloms, together with the programmer of the Francisco Pérez Laguna Festival, who expressed their appreciation for the level of audiovisual productions that were presented in the call.

The prize for the winners of each international competition was increased to 300 thousand Argentine pesos, the best short film of the NOA will receive 140 thousand and the best project in development 100 thousand. further, In the International Fiction Feature Film Competition, the Andes Statuette for Best Direction will be awarded, Best screenplay, Best Direction of Photography, Best performance, Jury Special Mention and Public Award.

Meanwhile, in the NOA International Documentary and Short Film Competition, the Andes Statuette will also be awarded to the Special Mention of the Jury and the Audience Award..
