The call to be part of the seventh edition of the Quirino Awards was recently opened., the Spanish meeting that celebrates Ibero-American animation.

This meeting will take place on 11 May in San Cristóbal de la Laguna, from the European city of Tenerife. At the same time, productions will be received to participate in the Feature Film categories, Serie, Short film, school short film, Custom work, video game animation and, this year for the first time, video.

The finalist works in the main categories will compete, also, in three technical categories: Visual development, Animation Design and Sound Design and Original Music.

Regarding the call, is aimed at works with a majority production of one of the 23 Ibero-American countries that have been released in 2023, although in the case of feature films, video game series and animations, premiered works can compete between 1 June 2022 and the 31 from December to 2023.
