From Wednesday 20 In March the exhibitions “The sea that unites us” will be officially inaugurated, a proposal made jointly between the CCK, the Italian Institute of Culture of Buenos Aires and the Consulate General of Italy in Buenos Aires.

With free entry, presentan El mar que nos une, an exhibition made up of two samples that seek to delve even deeper into the deep links between Argentina and Italy.

"Amerigo Vespucci. The Più Beautiful Ship of the World” presents forty works by Italian photographers Maki Galimberti and Massimo Sestini, who for two years shared life on board the iconic vessel with their crew, the oldest in service in Italy, which was awarded as the “most beautiful ship in the world”. Currently the ship is traveling the world and will cross three oceans, five continents and will stop at thirty-one ports, among which are the City of Buenos Aires and Ushuaia.

Meanwhile, “My roots are here” proposes an immersive experience focused on one of the most well-known and significant aspects of Italian migration in Argentina: the sport. Through an unpublished presentation of archival material from the Museum of Emigration of Genoa-MEI, a videomapping will project the stories of athletes and clubs, from the end of the 19th century to today. These contents will be accompanied by a documentary – recently recovered and restored – about the Genoa soccer team's tour of South America., which took place just over a century ago after the victory of the Scudetto in Italy.

Once opened, The exhibition can be enjoyed from Wednesday to Sunday 14 a 20 hours.
