The General Directorate of Culture of the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation determined that the call for theatrical works corresponding to the "Power and Politics" contest should be extended until the end of March.

This decision came after the large number of proposals received for the call to theatrically represent original and unpublished texts that address the topics expressed in the Preamble of the National Constitution..

The jury of the contest is made up of renowned personalities from the theatrical work of the country, who will be tasked with selecting six winning works. Mariela Asensio (CABA), Elena Bossi (Jujuy), Gladis gomez (Chaco), Raul Brambilla (CABA) and Mauricio Kartun (CABA), accepted the challenge of evaluating the works generated from this proposal, whose greatest expectation is to receive material from authors from all over the country.

The Preamble declares the values ​​and goals that make up the legislative and political program of our country, like the national union, peace, the order, Justice, common defense, the general welfare and protection of the liberty of all inhabitants.

The contest invites you to open the game between poetics, politics and aesthetics, conjugating the concepts of the Preamble in the present, to revisit and contextualize them, inaugurating an area of ​​reflection projected on the whole that we form as a community.

People over eighteen years of age can participate, Argentine native or foreign with accredited five-year residence in the country. The works must be submitted under a pseudonym and uploaded until 31 March through an online form on the website of the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Nation.
