From Monday 15 In July the Casa del Historiador will inaugurate an exhibition dedicated to the emblematic children's magazines Billiken and Anteojito.

This exhibition will cover the last hundred years of education in Argentina, evoking memories of generations through emblematic children's publications and school materials.

"The school, from the kiosk to the house. Billiken and Anteojito magazines in dialogue with the maps and didactic sheets Estrada” is the name given to this exhibition and which coincides with the beginning of the winter holidays.. The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday from 13 a 17 hours, in the recently renovated and recovered Estrada Family Dining Room of the Casa del Historiador, located on Bolívar street 466.

In that context, on Sunday 14 July at 16 hours will screen “A Thousand Inventions and One Invention”, a film that has Anteojito as the protagonist.

On the other hand, the modern museum (Of. San Juan 350) recently inaugurated “Soñar a borbotones”, an artistic intervention by Alberto Passolini, who used the traditional light blue color of magazines for their national editions.
