Sergio Denis passed away at 71 years after a long hospitalization
After a long hospitalization, caused by a strong fall that he had during a show, this Friday Sergio Denis passed away, renowned Argentine popular artist and one of the main voices in the 1980s and 1990s.
Sergio Denis, whose real name was Héctor Omar Hoffmann Fenzel, died at 71 years after 14 months in the ALCLA rehabilitation clinic, after falling during a presentation at the Mercedes Sosa theater in the province of Tucumán.
At that moment, the artist was rushed to the Ángel Padilla hospital, where he received the first healings from severe bruises (underwent chest tomography, neck, abdomen, brain and pelvis).
In the world of music since the decade of the 60, the singer recorded close to 30 albums and had great performances, filling for example the Luna Park stadium on several occasions.
His style quickly placed him among the great national ballads, thanks to songs like "I love you so much", "I am the adventure" and "Give me light", among several others.
