Starting saturday 3 April the Teatro Regio will host "Siglo de oro trans", the show written by Gonzalo Demaría and directed by Pablo Maritano.

This work is a free version of "Don Gil of the green leggings", from Tirso de Molina and can be enjoyed in person at the venue located on Córdoba Avenue 6056, with tickets that are for sale through the Buenos Aires Theater Complex platform (CTBA).

Don Gil of the green tights, considered one of the most accomplished works of the Spanish Baroque theater for the quality of its plot, It is essentially a sitcom about wanting wrong and to what extent this desire corresponds to the body.

It was released in 1615, a decisive century philosophically; the questions that the culture asked about the condition of the soul and the body are reversed in this "Trans Golden Age", that interrogates the genre in a thousand different ways.

The version about the verse to the Buenos Aires Spanish Baroque, but keeps intact the sexual satire and philosophical and metaphysical proposals of Tirso de Molina. The staging addresses the text from the baroque tradition, with his amazing self-confidence to play songs that are still modern today: identity and body against the destructive action of desire.

The cast is made up of Payuca, Based Bonell, Ariel Perez de Maria, Maiamar Abrodos, Mariano Saborido, Martina Nikolle Ansardi, Rodrigo Arena, Julian Ekar, Emiliano Figueredo, Naty Menstrual and Fabián Minelli; while the musicians on stage are Dolores Costoyas and Iván García.

As for times, can be seen from Thursday (popular day, with a discount from 50 percent) to Sundays from 20.
