The House of the Bicentennial continues with the cycle of films dedicated to the filmography of the outstanding filmmaker Néstor Frenkel.

With free and open access through its platform, the Casa del Bicentenario will continue this Tuesday with the virtual meeting, exhibiting "The Great Simulator", film that follows in the footsteps of the great Argentine illusionist René Levand.

The cycle, which is organized jointly with Kino Palais, It began with the projection of the stop-motion animation medium-length film "Safe Silver" and later it will offer the possibility of seeing "All year round is Christmas", film in which Frenkel imagines a world full of Santa Claus.

The purpose of this cycle is to immerse oneself “in that extraordinary invented world in which the boundaries between fiction and documentary are fortunately blurred, and the conjunction of the spontaneous and humor are the favorite way of narrating ", as they ensure from the organization of the meeting.

Soundman by trade since 1993, Frenkel began at the end of that decade to produce his own animation projects, fiction and documentary. In that context, since 2004 concentrates on documentary making.

His productions also include "Looking for Reynols" (2004), "Building a city" (2008), “Amateur” (2011), "The Great Simulator" (2013), "The market" (2014), "Winners" (2016) and "The whole year is Christmas" (2018).
