“Song Machine: season one – Strange Timez”, Gorillaz's new album
This Friday the virtual group Gorillaz presented “Song Machine: season one – Strange Timez”, his latest album.
Created by musician Damon Albarn and cartoonist Jamie-Hewlett, the band brings this new chapter to their discography, which it is already available on all digital platforms.
Compiling the seven episodes released since the beginning of the year, each with their own video following the adventures of Noodle, 2D, Murdoc and Russel in the studio and across the world, the complete collection “Season One” has a total of 17 songs.
On the other hand, the group announced a series of live concerts, with a global event to air in December with new dates next year.
It will be the tour “Song Machine Tour”, which will include the broadcast of Gorillaz's first live show since 2018, the 12 Y 13 from December, before the visit to Cologne and Berlin, in Germany, and Luxembourg next summer, and a comeback show at The O2 in London, the 11 August 2021, reported the group on their social networks.
The virtual group Gorillaz is formed by the singer 2D, bassist Murdoc Niccals, guitarist Noodle and drummer Russel Hobbs, his acclaimed eponymous album was released on 2001.
Subsequent albums by the Grammy and BRIT award winning band were “Demon Days” (2005), “Plastic Beach” (2010), “The Fall” (2011), “Humility” (2017) Y “The Now Now” (2018).
In this new work there are collaborations of Robert Smith, Beck, Tony Allen, Elton John, St Vincent, Peter Hook, Joan as Police Woman, Slaves y Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
