“Revuelta” is the name of the two performances with which the multifaceted artist Agustín “Soy Rada” Aristarán will bid farewell to the year at the traditional Opera Theater on Corrientes Street..

But before, the humorist, actor, conductor, Wizard, musician (and the list of talents goes on ...) spoke with The sidewalk to anticipate these presentations for which there are still tickets available through the Ticketek system.

"Scrambled is that", begins in his explanation about the coming show, where the artist gathers "things that I loved to do, what i love to do and what am i starting to do. Mix up the old thing, what is now and what is coming: returning to the varieté as a form of the story ". In ‘Scrambled’ “they will find the things that I enjoy doing: stand up, Magic, music. Great surprises await you ", anticipates.

From the uncertainty of the pandemic this end of the year comes to full activity, Can you take stock of your 2021?

Me 2021 it was fortunately a year full of new and good things. I premiered my second special on Netflix. I premiered the fourth season of "Radahouse" by flow, I started to host a daily program on the channel 13. I am fortunate for everything that happens to me and everything that we went through this year.

When Radagast mentions his Netflix specials, "Serendipity" immediately comes to mind, a step forward in the artist's presentations that this time offers a deeper concept about his life. How would you define it?

It is a journey through some milestones in my life that were made and that today I read as fortunate. That at the time they changed the course that my life had been bringing, and which were facts that I was not looking for.

When composing the monologues and songs for the show, Was there influence of the quarantine stage that has to live?

"Serendipity" was written pre quarantine. But in the living I incorporate everyday things that we are living or that we had to live in this time of pandemic. There is something very particular in this fact: we were all part.

In this concept that we are the same, I believe that the pandemic was in contemporaneity one of the only things that put us all in the same storm (although we weren't all in the same boat) generated us a global identification.

When you premiered your proposal on Netflix, the show was one of the trends in a few hours. Do you feel one of the references of current humor? What does the fact of being one of the most viewed?

It is hard for me to feel that I have arrived somewhere because my search was always to walk, walk and go looking for new directions. I am aware that what I do has a growing audience and that makes me feel very lucky and already very grateful..

A double role at the Opera, a new special on Netflix, the shows and tours, Radahouse and many other projects ... what would you say to the baby who received a magic kit as a gift if you had the possibility of traveling in time?

I would tell him that if he plays, if you keep playing, and above all without losing the capacity for wonder, it seems that the universe continues to surprise us.

Putting professional aside, What things did the quarantine allow you from the personal level?

Spend a lot of time with my daughter and with my girlfriend. I treasure that time when I looked around and thought: with these beings I want to go in a lifeboat if the ship sinks. It allowed me to value the simpler things like hanging out, chat, delve into what one does and the purpose that moves us to do more things.

You took your family / relationship situation to a healthy level of openness in a country where this is dangerous, How do you carry it out and how do you talk about it? (being that it includes a teenage daughter and a famous girlfriend)

We are very careful about our privacy. We are public persons whose own activity requires the press, and expansion. But the focus is always the professional, not the personal. And I think it's working.

How would you rate the current scene of national humor?

I can't say much. There are people that I like a lot and people that not so much: I like that a certain non-deconstructed humor is running out.

Exorcising with humor was always important personally and I think it is a great channel to talk about things that are usually taboo or difficult to bring..

Do you think that with the constant problems that we have to live as a society, it is more difficult to make the public laugh??

I do not think so. Humor frees us from tension. If one can connect with laughter whatever happens at least at that moment is diluted.

What do you project for the immediate future?

Keep walking. Consolidate team. And put a lot into music that is definitely one of my favorite places in the world..
