The guitar that Kurt Cobain used in the Nirvana acoustic will be auctioned

The “Unplugged” that Nirvana made at the end of 1993 for the remembered cycle of the MTV network it was undoubtedly one of the most successful, registering a significant sales figure. Coinciding with the peak of your career, the group captured much of their best-known repertoire on that day, plus some great versions like David Bowie's classic "The man who sold the world".

The concert, published a year later, it was sold in various formats and - obviously- various specific things became famous, like the guitar used by the late Kurt Cobain. In that context, the instrument will be put up for auction and the transaction is believed to leave a sum of more than one million dollars.

The guitar can be seen from this Friday 15 May at the Hard Rock Café in London and also at the Julien’s gallery - more precisely at the headquarters that this firm owns in Beverly Hills- from 15 of June. The push, Finally, will be the 19 Y 20 of June.

As for the guitar, is a Martin D-18E, created in the year 1959. This impressive instrument will not be alone in the lot to auction, since its original cover and a tracing of the album "Feel the darkness" will be included, belonging to the group Poison Idea.
