TABA 2025: International theater in the Buenos Aires summer

The High Season Festival in Buenos Aires (TABA) returns in 2025 with its 13th edition, establishing itself as an unmissable event for theater lovers.
Of the 13 al 23 February, Timbre4 will be filled with local and international talent in a meeting that promotes cultural exchange and scenic creation, reaffirming its commitment to culture and the public.
This year, The festival will have a program that includes outstanding proposals from Argentina, Spain and France. Works like “The Outbreak”, with dramaturgy and direction by Emiliano Dionisi, and “What we have left to tell”, directed by Fernando Rubio, They will open the festival on 13 February. Unique shows will also be presented such as “Nana canta Piaf”, a Franco-Argentine musical tribute, y “Alone together”, by the Spanish Joana Brabo, that will surprise you with its innovative concept.
Among the international proposals, “The words of others” stand out, by Roger Torns, and “We don't know anything about the field”, directed by Clàudia Serrahima Urgell, while Argentine creations include “Precoz”, based on the text by Ariana Harwicz, and “I would tear us away from this place forever.”, directed by Diego Faturos. further, The festival will feature voluntary entry shows such as “Story of a Leg”, a collaboration between Argentina and Spain, y “Sugar Girls”, a work full of sensitivity and power.
An unmissable classic of the festival is the Dramaturgy Tournament, where texts by Catalan and Argentine authors compete in a creative duel that involves the public in choosing the winners. This year, The semi-finals will take place on 21 Y 22 February, with the grand final scheduled for 23 February.
TABA also offers spaces for exchange and learning, like the workshop “Learn to say no”, dictated by Joana Brabo, and the discussion “From the idea to the project”, focused on independent publishing of playwriting.
Advance tickets can be purchased until 31 from January, and many activities have voluntary entry upon reservation.
