For only four performances and with a cast made up of Analía Couceyro, Luciana Mastromauro, Flor Piterman and Fiamma Carranza Macchi, The play directed by Mariana Chaud and written by Tamara Tenenbaum promises to take the audience on an emotional and reflective journey.

In this way, Saturdays in February, the stage of Caras y Caretas 2037 will become the epicenter of an intriguing story that intertwines myths, Jewish tradition and the rebellion of a defiant young woman. "Las Moiras", the work of the talented Tamara Tenenbaum, that will immerse the viewer within the vibrant neighborhood of Once, where three rabbis' wives weave the marital destinies of the community.

The plot takes an unexpected turn when a young woman challenges the established order, claiming their right to break the chains imposed by the Fates. But nevertheless, his attempt to argue is interrupted when a Dibuk, that wandering spirit according to Jewish legend, takes over.

This fascinating montage, titled “The Fates”, not only offers a unique theatrical experience, but also invites us to reflect on the relationship between destiny and rebellion. In this context, Tamara Tenenbaum explores transcendental myths: the jewish drawing, a tormented spirit that cannot cross to the other side, and the Fates of Greek mythology, three old women from the underworld who weave, They hold and cut the thread of life.

“Las Moiras” marks the beginning of an intriguing diptych, titled “The Drawing, Dos Covers”, which will continue with “The Longest Day in the World”. Both works reinterpret elements of Ansky's work, placing them in the context of Argentine Orthodox Judaism of the 20th century. The reference to theater, an integral part of early 20th century Hasidic education, is explicitly highlighted in both works.

In a broader sense, “The Draw, Dos Covers” raises provocative questions about Jewish tradition. Can Judaism recover the avant-garde and subversion of past eras? Can this tradition be an effective means of addressing fundamental questions of life and contemporary issues such as gender, power and morality? The answers to these questions are sought through the theatrical experience of “Las Moiras” and its continuation..

With only 4 functions, from the 3 February and during Saturdays in February at 21 hours at the Caras y Caretas theater 2037, Tickets are available at Alternativa Teatral.
