Theater of war, Lola Arias debut feature, premieres at the San Martín Theater

Lola Arias' debut feature, Theater of war, can be seen from this Thursday 6 September in the Leopoldo Lugones room of the San Martín Theater, hosted by the Buenos Aires Theater Complex and the Argentine Cinemateca Foundation.

The film had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival (where he even won the CICAE Prize and the Ecumenical Jury Prize) and it was presented in the last edition of BAFICI, where he won the award for Best Direction of the Official Competition.

The film tells the story of the meeting of six Malvinas war veterans, fair 35 years after the war. It is about three Argentines and three Britons who spent months together to reconstruct their memories.
In this way, Arias tries to conduct a social experiment, using former enemies. Their testimonies will parade in different spaces such as a swimming pool, a construction site and a military regiment. further, they will dialogue with school students, psychologists and young actors.

With respect to entries, can be purchased in person on the day of the performance, at the box office of the enclosure located on Corrientes Avenue 1530. The price of seats is 40 pesos, while for students and retirees $20 (with the corresponding accreditation).

Theater of war, also, will be exhibited next to Campo Minado, also from Lola Arias, which can be seen in the Casacuberta room.
