The director of the Cervantes National Theater, Alejandro Tantanian, announced the end of the restoration work on the facades and terraces of the hall after twelve years, presented the schedule 2019 of space and took stock of the management of the previous year, in an act in which the Secretary of Culture also participated, Pablo Avelluto.

“After twelve years the theater is today free of scaffolding. We are very happy to have carried out the long-awaited work ", expressed the general and artistic director in an act that took place this afternoon at the theater located on Libertad Street 815 City of Buenos Aires.

Another point made by Tantanian is the fact that it has complied with all the actions that it had announced in 2017:

"We are happy with our management in our second year of work. We perform 33 artistic actions, 544 functions of which the 70 percent were exhausted. Along the 2018 the theater had more than 100.000 spectators ", reported the director.
