Third day of the training cycle at the Fernández Blanco Museum

On Monday, the third day of free and online meetings that the Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispano-American Art proposes will begin.

This proposal consists of trainings for cultural makers and the best entertainment. In that context, from 17 hours and through the Meet platform the museum will carry out the activity "The Power of the Image in Hispano-American Art", which will be in charge of Florencia Fullana.

Those present will work with sources of the time and specific bibliography to discuss Hispanic American art, that although it was inspired by iconographic sources and styles of European origin, today considered an original art, with its own features and absolutely distinctive of the American continent.

On the other hand, on Tuesday 18 -from 17.30 and also via Zoom-, the meeting will be held "Analysis and Keys to Understanding: The Historical Novel ", by Professor Pablo Gaiano.

In this meeting, the origin and development of the Historical Novel in its different variants will be analyzed.. The basic characteristics of the historical novel today plus a brief overview of its characteristics, from Enrique Larreta and "La Gloria de Don Ramiro", to "Love in the Time of Cholera" by García Márquez and "The Name of the Rose" by Humberto Eco.
