Everything ready for the second edition of the VECINE Festival
In February the second edition of the VECINE Festival will take place in the Buenos Aires city of Villa Crespo, a free meeting in the open air to enjoy the Seventh Art.
With the support of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Culture, through BA Audiovisual and the Mecenazgo de Impulso Cultural program, can be enjoyed under strict sanitary protocols, face-to-face and responsibly.
The opening will be on Saturday 6 at the Parque Centenario Amphitheater with a silent movie set to music live by members of the band Los Espíritus and will continue on Sunday, in the same headquarters, with the projection of the restored copy of Silvia Prieto, from director Martín Rejtman, which will be presented live by its cast and crew, in homage to its protagonist Rosario Bléfari.
Then, the competition screenings of Argentine long and short films will be held the following two weekends, from Friday to Sunday, in the General Benito Nazar Square (Apolinario Figueroa and Olaya, Villa Crespo). There two luxury activities will be added: a talk by Lucrecia Martel and another with Mariano Llinás.
further, in the square there will be a gastronomic fair, producers and designers of the neighborhood for the occasion. The functions will be held on a giant outdoor screen both in the Centennial Park Amphitheater and in the General Benito Nazar Square.
