From 21 September and with three venues to visit, the edition will be developed 111 of the National Hall of Visual Arts organized by the Palais de Glace.

In total there will be over 200 the works belonging to different artists from all over the country who will have the opportunity to participate in this distinguished and classic exhibition, that can be seen at the Kirchner Cultural Center, the Borges Cultural Center and the Paco Urondo Cultural Center.

This year the curatorship will be Guillermina Mongan, who investigates the multiplicity of times that coexist in the artistic practices of the Salon. The stories of art, the imaginaries around the future, the memories and their insistences, and the relationship with our territories, are some of the nuclei that organize the curatorial proposal.

The sample, also, distinguishes acquisition works from a set of categories (which become part of the collection of the National Palace of Arts – Palais de Glace) and non-acquisition works of each artistic discipline; and the National Artistic Track Award, that recognizes the vast journey and decisive contribution of distinguished creators to the local art scene.

Regarding the prizes, There will be three awards for the best works in all categories.: the Presidency of the Nation Award for the first best work is awarded 1.500.000 pesos; the prize for the second best work is awarded 1.000.000 and the prize for the third best work is equivalent to 700 thousand. Likewise, to consent 43 Non-acquisition awards by artistic categories: 9 first prizes of 350 one thousand pesos each, 17 second prizes 240 thousand each and 17 third prizes of 180 thousand each.
