"Taking state" and "I am afraid, bullfighter ”on the INCAA screens

Through the screens of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), tonight will be screened "Taking State" and "I'm afraid, torero”, the two films that will be part of a new Opening Thursday.

"Taking state" (from 20 hours) is a dramatic comedy made by Federico Sosa; while "I am afraid, bullfighter ”is a police officer co-produced between our country and Chile, inspired by the novel written by Pedro Lemebel.

Both productions will have a repeat this Saturday 17 and from tomorrow both will be available on the CINE.AR PLAY platform, for seven days, exclusively and free.

In his movie, Sosa presents the story of a worker from an electrical cooperative in a town in the interior who will relive a past that he believed was buried after the call of an old fellow activist.

The cast of this production is made up of Germán de Silva, Sergio Podeley, Veronica Gerez, Chang Sung-kim, Federico Liss, Elvira Onetto, Malala Olivares, Emilio Bardi, Darío Levy, Ramiro Vayo, Pasta Dioguardi, Rafael Solano, Javier Niklison, Hector Bordoni, Claudio Torres, Juan Diego Icardona, Sergio Minore and Martina Garello

Sosa is a graduate of the National School of Cinematographic Experimentation and Production (ENERC). Between 2012 Y 2014 filmed the documentary "Contra Paraguay". During 2014 produces and directs "I know what poisons" which premieres in Competition at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival. In 2017 is summoned by the production company Ayar Stories and Pampa Films to direct "Nor so great". "Tomando Estado" is his third fiction feature film, produced by the company 16 9. Meanwhile, "I'm scared, torero” (from 22) is a historical drama directed by Rodrigo Sepúlveda Urzúa, that features the performances of Alfredo Castro, Leonardo Ortizgris, Juliet Zylberberg, Sergio Hernandez, Amparo Noguera, Ezequiel Diaz, Paulina Urrutia and Luis Gnecco.

This film revolves around the romance of a transvestite and a young guerrilla during the Pinochet dictatorship.

Native of Chile, Sepúlveda Urzúa has a long history of more than 30 years. He is known for the series "Los Simuladores", “62: History of a World Cup ”and the adaptation of the HBO series“ In Treatment ”, executive producer of the dramatic area of ​​TVN and later content director of the same channel. His most outstanding films are "A Thief and His Woman" (201), "Our father" (2005), “Aurora” (2014) and "I'm Scared Bullfighter".
