Argentina, Mexico and Colombia in the last year collection of the Museo Fortabat
The exhibition "Trilogy: Argentina, Colombia, Mexico", It opened in fortabat art collection, gathers 65 works, perhaps the least known, artists like Frida Kahlo, Fernando Botero and Antonio Berni, based on a curatorial script that recovers moments that are more individual than historical and iconic.
On the first floor that mirrors the Puerto Madero dock, arranged without chronological order, with a time span that goes from the 19th century to the years 70, although organized with certain thematic affinities - children, religion or still life, For example-, The works exhibited in the Fortabat museum's last exhibition of the year suggest a special invitation: more than proposing a consensus of speeches, they call for the pleasure of looking for the sake of looking.
At least two reasons seem to explain this.: on the one hand, It is an exhibition with shared curatorship of the three countries represented -Roberto Amigo, Carlos Arturo Fernández and Consuelo Fernández Ruiz-, and on the other, The chosen works belong to three collections: those of Argentina, from the Fortabat collection; while those of Mexico and Colombia correspond to the assets of the insurance company Sura of each country.
